The plot of Greedfall seems promising. The world is engulfed by a mysterious plague called melihor. Suddenly, the sailors discover the island of Teer Fradee. It is inhabited by aborigines who are not subject to cholera. It becomes clear that the island has a cure for a deadly disease. From the infected continent, sailors, pirates, politicians and scientists are drawn to Teer Fradee.
The developers offer to choose the gender of the controlled character. De Sardet, the protagonist of the game, is a protege of the Merchant Congregation. The Congregation founded the city of New Serena on the island. Cousin de Sardet becomes his viceroy. The hero's task is to help a relative rise in the ranks and find a cure for melihor.
The walls of the medieval city are surrounded by unknown forests. Aborigines live there, worshiping the spirits of nature. Indigenous people are opposed to outsiders. The thickets are inhabited by fantasy fauna. Animals also will not miss the opportunity to eat meat. Do not wander through the forest unarmed.
Action-RPG combines political intrigue and tactical battles. The variability of choice implies an impact on the outcome of events. To be more precise, such a game was conceived. The implementation of the project differs from the invested expectations. The project is full of flaws.
